Electrical stimulation

Electric stimulation therapy is a treatment that applies electrical stimulation for treating muscle spasms and pain. It can help prevent atrophy and build strength in patients with injuries.


Ultrasound therapy

Ultrasound is a therapeutic modality that has been used by physical therapists since the 1940s. Ultrasound is applied using a round-headed wand or probe that is put in direct contact with the patient’s skin.

Diathermy

Diathermy is a therapeutic treatment most commonly prescribed for muscle and joint conditions. It uses a high-frequency electric current to stimulate heat generation within body tissues.

Therapeutic Stretching

Therapeutic Stretching focuses on the use of both active and passive stretching as part of the rehabilitation of common musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy, or manipulative therapy, is a physical treatment primarily used to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability; it most commonly includes kneading and manipulation of muscles, joint mobilization and joint manipulation.


Adjustments

The intention of a chiropractic adjustment is to affect or correct the alignment, motion and/or function of a vertebral joint. Specifically, intended to correct “vertebral subluxations”, the term given to the signs and symptoms that result from abnormal alignment of vertebrae.

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise refers to a range of physical activities that helps restore and build physical strength, endurance, flexibility, and stability. The goal is returning an injured person to a pain-free, fully functioning state.

Intersegmental Spinal Traction

An *intersegmental traction* table, or a roller table, is used to cradles the body while rolling over each segment of the spine to allow the blood in and the pain out and restore proper ranges of motion.

Spinal Decompression

Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a type of motorized gentle stretching of the spine that changes the amount of pressure on the spine. This helps with alleviating the pressure on the nerve which causes the pain.

MLS Laser Therapy

Laser therapy helps restore the body to normal function quicker than other therapies. With chronic conditions, laser therapy is used most often to help combat persistent pain and inflammation without side effects. Lasers can be used for acute and chronic conditions. Whether you have sciatica, arthritis, herniated or degenerative discs, shoulder and neck pain, aching knees, spinal stenosis, or any other muscle-skeletal pain, you will benefit from the use of MLS laser therapy. Patients feel nothing except relief during treatment with the MLS laser treatment. Treatments are quick and have longer-lasting results.

Pressure Wave Therapy

Pressure Wave Therapy fights against the lack of blood flow during an injury; such as shoulder injuries, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, elbow tendinopathies and chronic stages of the myofascial syndrome (pain of the muscles). This process uses non-invasive, low-intensity acoustic waves to cause the opening of blood vessels, and the opportunity for there reparative process of blood vessels, bones, tendons, and other soft tissue. Additionally, reversing chronic inflammation, stimulating collagen production, dissolving calcified fibroblasts, reducing pain, and releasing trigger points.
